Some web tools for our use
So I just finished reading an article about 10 great tools that could be used in the classroom, however of these 10 I really can only see myself using about four of them.
The first site that really caught my eye, I don't think relates directly to Physics, however it could be a fantastic tool for engaging the students on a particular topic. The site ie Wordle.net and below is an example of a snipit from Einstein's Special and Gener Relativity.
Alas I can't get the image to copy. This is most likey by design.
The next site I think I could use is the donerschoose.org, but only to ask for money.
The Surveymonkey.com site looked interesting, however I think that if I am already having the students use Google Docs, that I would just use the surveys in there for any application I might need them for.
The idea of twitter was fascinating to me. I have often thought about having an ongoing twitter.com feed going in the classroom following weather.com, NASA, physorg.com, etc however I have not really moved past this idea. I would love to hear other's thoughts on how Twitter might be used in teacher to student interactions.
What are some other sites that y'all found?

Yes I too need to include an educational video
This is actually a video that I was turned on to by Prof Hale, however I thought it was really awesome and a fantastic demonstration of how the period of a pendulum varies with length. ENJOY!!

Keep it to what you can control
So I just finished reading this article for my Technology in education class. All I can say is I am thankful Professor Hale knows this material!!! This article is chock full of points that all need to be addressed when incorporating new technology into our classrooms. The Hate Directory is a new concept to me, and yet there it is in all of its glory. I think this highlights just how much information is out there and how important it is for us to promote Good Digital Citizenship.
The idea of "if it's on the internet it's true" is actually new to me. I thought everyone knew of the inaccuracies on the internet. A trivia test was done with Google, Bing, Yahoo, and wikipedia. Questions were asked and the accuracy of the results were evaluated. Google, Bing and Yahoo were all about 70-80 percent and wikipedia was around 60 percent. I've always thought that the right answer can be found out there on the internet, but it has to be searched for and validated.
LIVE Videos in every classroom?!?!
I've often thought about this for my protection, however I never dreamed of broadcasting this onto the internet for any yahoo to log in and critique a snapshot of my teaching. I have nothing to hide, however I know how a snip-it of video can be manipulated to portray something that never occurred.
Just one last quick comment about Allen's last point. I agree with this as well. Me standing in front of the class telling them "that there internet is evil see, stay away from it if you know what's good for you" just won't work. I feel I am in a unique position as I use all of the services that they do, well almost (I've never been to the "Holocaust Never Happened" site) and I can provide valuable insite into what can happen when poor digital citizenship is exercised.
